    Important searches are needed to ensure the property is legal and without debts. A final search is carried out on the day the new deeds are signed at the notary.

    Many clients make a “Poder”, a Power of Attorney, allowing the lawyer to purchase the house in the clients name, arrange a mortgage and to ensure the services ie water and power, are connected for payment to the clients bank account.
